MyClock Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

MyClock is a clock, weather, alarm and world-clock app. It has no account and no sign-in, and its purpose is to be a display: everything you set up in it — alarms, cities, preferences — stays on your device.

Information We Collect

We do not collect, store or share your alarms, city lists, clock settings or any other personal information. All of it is kept in the app's private storage on your device. The app itself uses no analytics or crash-reporting services, and no server of ours receives anything from your device.

Location and Weather

The weather follows your current location, so with your permission the app reads your coordinates when it fetches a forecast:

Your location is read only while you are using the app, is never stored on a server of ours, and is never used for advertising or tracking. If you refuse location permission the app works normally — you simply won't see the weather.

Permissions Explanation

The app asks for the following permissions to provide its features:

Nothing else is requested. The microphone, camera, photo library and contacts are never used.

Advertising

MyClock displays banner ads through Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK) on its weather, alarm and world-clock tabs — never over the clock display and never in Settings. To request, deliver and measure ads, and to detect invalid traffic, Google and its advertising partners may collect:

On first launch the app asks for permission to track (Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt). If you allow it, ads may be personalised using your advertising identifier. If you decline, the app still shows ads, but they are not personalised. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you have bought the ad-free upgrade, no ads are requested at all and this prompt is never shown — see below.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent form is presented before any ads are requested. You can change your tracking choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

For details on how Google uses data from apps that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.

In-App Purchases

MyClock offers one optional purchase: a one-time upgrade that removes advertising. It is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, your payment details or any other information about you — the App Store tells the app only whether the upgrade has been bought, and the app records that answer on your device so it knows not to request ads.

Once you have bought it, the app requests no advertising at all: no banners, no full-screen ads, and no tracking permission prompt. Restoring the purchase on another device is handled by the App Store; see Settings → Remove Ads → Restore Purchases.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your alarms, clock style and other preferences, the last weather reading, and whether you have bought the ad-free upgrade, are kept in the app's private storage on your device for as long as you use the app. Deleting MyClock removes all of them and cancels any scheduled alarm notifications. Because we never receive any of it, there is nothing for us to delete on a server.

A purchase itself is not stored by the app — it is held by the App Store against your Apple ID. Deleting the app therefore does not lose it, and Restore Purchases brings it back.

Children's Privacy

MyClock is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age that applies in your country), and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top will be revised when we do.
